Facilitating, training and developing policy comprise the core responsibilities for an Employee Relations Specialist II currently sought by the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, an integrated health care delivery system providing care for all age groups.
College grads with a bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related areas are eligible. The successful candidate will bring three to five years of cumulative experience in HR with comprehensive knowledge of standard applicable programs such as EEO1, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, HIPAA, EEO and more. Previous work in the health care field and SHRM certification are desirable.
The specialist will deliver employee relations and HR guidance for managers, supervisors and staff by facilitating and resolving employee relations matters, overseeing training, and creating and implementing policy. Additionally, he or she will review data for metrics application.
The organization operates through four hospitals: Spartanburg Medical Center, Pelham Medical Center, Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care and Union Medical Center. SRHS also includes Ellen Sagar Nursing Center, a 113-bed long-term care, skilled nursing facility with rehabilitation services, according to its LinkedIn website.
