Corda is accepting applications for an open human resources manager position based in the company’s New Castle, Delaware, manufacturing site who would be responsible for human resources programs both there and at the Mill Hall, Pennsylvania site.
The position is open to those with a bachelor’s degree in human resources or labor relations and seven to 10 years of experience in the field at a unionized manufacturing site. Applicants should have contract negotiation experience and be able to commit to up to 30 percent travel. Those interested in the position should be proactive, have strong communication and interpersonal skills and posses a positive personality enabling relationship and trust building.
The human resources manager will be responsible for implementing Corda’s human resources programs at the two manufacturing facilities. The New Castle facility is unionized, while the Mill Hall facility is not.
Human resources functions falling under the manager’s purview include labor relations, employee relations, policy administration, benefits, training, recruitment, workers’ compensation and performance management. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing solutions based on site-specific information and work with the regional human resources manager to put procedures in place. He or she will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
