The HR coordinator will be responsible for developing and updating job postings, screening and coordinating interviews with potential employees, communicating final employee selections, coordinating orientation for new employees, maintaining personnel and benefit files, overseeing benefit plans open enrollment, coordinating employee terminations and exit interviews, dealing with employee relations issues, writing performance reviews, and keeping the policies and procedures manual up-to-date with regards to state and federal law changes.
Prospective candidates must possess a college degree; at least two years of generalist experience; hands-on experience with recruiting, employee relations and benefits; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and knowledge of payroll processing, as well as California and federal labor laws.
