Paragon Honda in Woodside, New York is looking for a human resources manager.

The manager will be responsible for recruiting and hiring new employees, managing employee training programs, advising on day-to-day administration policies and procedures, maintaining personnel files, coordinating employee benefits open enrollment, responding to questions about benefits, coordinating annual reviews, dealing with employee relations issues, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in HR management, business administration or related field; at least five years of HR or labor relations experience; strong communication, computer and organizational skills; and knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to topics such as working conditions, hours, wages, and labor relations.

Preferred qualifications include PHR or SPHR certification.

Salary for the position is based on experience.
