Cloud Nine Ventures in Northbrook, Illinois, is hiring a human resources manager with at least three years of progressive experience in HR and a bachelors degree in HR or a related field.
The full-time position bears a salary of $40,000 to $50,000 and consists of responsibility for all of the firm's human resources functions. The successful candidate will develop and lead initiatives aimed at promoting Cloud Nine’s existing employee-oriented, high-performance culture. He or she will oversee recruiting and staffing, performance management, job definition and role creation, career development and employee relations.
The position also entails creating policy, driving training and development initiatives, administering compensation and benefits and ensuring compliance with human resources related regulations and policies.
Candidates must have at least three years of experience in human resources management and those with PHR or SPHR certifications are preferred. Cloud Nine is specifically seeking applicants with experience in a fast-growing entrepreneurial organization. Those applying should have proven communication skills, excellent judgement and integrity and a deep understanding of human resources standards, regulations and policies.
