CityMD is seeking a human resources administrator for San Diego, California, who would be responsible for functions including addressing compliance issues, providing conflict resolution services, coordinating investigations and developing and implementing human resources policies.
The position requires one to five years of previous experience in a human resources function and knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Additionally, applicants should be strong oral and written communicators and should possess excellent organizational, problem solving, project management, coaching and analytical thinking skills. Candidates for the position should be team players and have experience with promoting employee development and should be able to address conflicts and ambiguous situations.
The human resources administrator will be responsible for human resources functions at all levels of the corporation. He or she will work to resolve human resources issues related to compliance, provide mediation services, coordinate formal and informal investigation and recommend corrective actions. The position also includes developing policies and implementing and interpreting existing policies and laws through the application of existing human resources knowledge.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the corporate benefits program and will provide guidance and assistance on employee relations matters like disciplinary actions, disputes and terminations.
