Speciality plant-based natural ingredients manufacturer Naturex Inc. seeks a human resources benefits and compensation specialist in South Hackensack, New Jersey.
Duties of the temporary position include updating employee benefit elections, assisting employees with questions and issues related to benefits/claims, approving benefit provider invoices, maintaining work compensation employee records, leading new employee training on benefit and payroll systems, managing onboarding process for new employees, managing daily payroll functions, processing W2 forms, registering new tax jurisdictions, and planning company events.
Prospective candidates must possess five years of HR generalist experience; experience managing a full payroll cycle for a medium-sized US company; strong experience with 401(k) administration; PHR or SHRM-CP; proficiency with Excel; familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems; and knowledge of regulations and laws across the local, state and federal levels.
