Interline Brands, a direct marketer and distributor of maintenance, repair and operations products, is hiring a human resource generalist in Atlanta.

The HR generalist will be responsible for posting jobs, sourcing traditional and social media networks, interviewing potential employees, processing background checks, preparing on-boarding welcome packets for new employees, conducting new employee orientations, maintaining employee files, assisting with the performance review process, processing forms for a variety of employee situations such as new hires and terminations, maintaining effective employee relations, administering special projects, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations on the state and federal levels.

Prospective candidates must be at least 18 and be legally permitted to work in the United States.

They must possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a HR-related field; two years of relevant work experience; experience with Microsoft Office; strong communication, leadership, relationship-building and problem-solving skills; and broad knowledge of HR functions, practices, and employment laws and regulations. Applicants should also be able to make good and quick business decisions.

Preferred qualifications include PHR certification and proficiency with Spanish.
