Toyota of Cedar Park, located near Austin, Texas, is seeking a human resources manager who would be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the company’s employee relations and human resources functions.
The successful candidate’s role will comprise payroll management, recruitment and orientation, employee benefits and recognition and human resources management. Specific duties under these spheres include preparing and inputting payroll data for the dealership, as well as compiling that data into weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports, and ensuring that the dealership is using the most effective payroll systems available.
He or she will also be responsible for serving as a benefits liaison with other dealership staff and 401(k) administration, as well as running recruitment programs, establishing recruitment strategies, and ensuring the dealership is in compliance with federal and state hiring laws. The position entails initiating and maintaining worker’s compensation claims among other typical human resources functions.
Toyota of Cedar Park is looking for applicants with a bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in the field, those with a master’s degree and four years of experience, or those with eight years of experience. All applicants must have payroll experience and human resources certifications such as an SHRM Senior Certified Professional or Professional Human Resources.
