Recreational vehicle developer and manufacturer Jayco Inc. is looking for a manager of compensation, benefits and payroll to work at its Middlebury, Indiana headquarters.
The full-time manager will be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, providing guidance on employee benefits programs, ensuring payroll records accuracy, executing new hire enrollments and terminations, developing specifications for new plans, informing employees of new benefits plans and changes, maintaining time clocks, ensuring accuracy of employee benefit deductions, providing counsel on compensation and benefit related programs, reconciling carrier invoices, and ensuring compliance with HR practices.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor's degree; at least eight years of relevant experience in HR with concentrations in benefits, payroll and compensation; at least five years of experience with formal compensation structures; experience with all facets of payroll; strong interpersonal skills; the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; and knowledge of pertinent state and federal laws and regulations.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business or HR.
