Health care company Kaiser Permanente is looking for an associate human resources consultant in Walnut Creek, California.

The full-time consultant will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day administration of HR policies and programs, resolving general HR issues, conducting research for grievances, engaging with HR subject matter experts, and preparing reports on HR data.

Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in an HR-related field with four years of related experience or a master's degree in an HR-related program with a minimum of two years of experience interacting with managers that required consulting and negotiation skills. Applicants must have the ability to work in labor/management partnership environment and operate effectively within a complex matrix organization.

Preferred qualifications include HR certification, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with other standard software applications.
