Merit Health Batesville is seeking applicants with a bachelor’s degree  for a full-time human resources generalist position in Batesville, Mississippi.

Those applying for the position should be knowledgeable of typical human resources concepts, practices and procedures. Merit Health is accepting applications from those without experience in the area, ranging to those with three years of experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing established human resources policies and procedures while reporting to a supervisor; he or she will not be expected to frequently exercise independent judgement.

Covering at least two human resources functional areas, the human resources generalist will collect and analyze data, which he or she will then use in recommendations made to management. The successful candidate will also be responsible for processing paperwork in their assigned functional areas according to set procedures and may be responsible for developing internal employee communications on topics like compensation, benefits or human resources policies.

The position operates under instruction and guidelines from an immediate supervisor and the human resources department.
