INTO George Mason University, a partnership between George Mason University and INTO North America that helps international students attending the university, is seeking a human resources manager to work in Fairfax, Virginia.
The position is open to candidates holding a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of human resources experience and SHRM CP or PHR certification or the ability to attain SHRM certification within a year. Candidates must having strong leadership and navigation skills and excel in critical evaluation, business acumen, ethical practice and building and maintaining relationships. They should be able to apply human resources functions to a growth environment, work independently and travel easily to and from the US.
Candidates with experience using a range of job posting sites, using Banner and eWork systems, and working within George Mason University’s human resources policies and procedures are preferred.
Job responsibilities include leadership in developing and maintaining human resources policies, procedures and programs for the organization and ensuring that center managers are correctly and effectively carrying out those procedures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for recruitment and selection, training and development, and performance management functions.
