NBC Universal is seeking a human resources generalist for the Golf Channel of the NBC Sports Group.
The HR generalist will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of job descriptions for open positions, posting open jobs, processing employee data changes such as new hires and terminations, maintaining employee files, assisting in the processes of corrective action and performance management, conducting exit interviews, responding to routine HR questions, dealing with employee issues, generating ad hoc employee data reports, attending staff meetings, and working to provide HR solutions that encourage employee engagement and effective business decisions.
Prospective candidates must be willing to work in Orlando, Florida and possess a bachelor's degree in HR management or related field, at least two years experience in a HR generalist role, or equivalent education, training and experience. Applicants should have strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as be able to multi-task, deliver results in a fast-paced environment, and work varying hours, overtime and on weekends with short notice.
Preferred qualifications include experience with SAP and Brassring, and certification as either a Professional in Human Resources or Senior Professional in Human Resources.
