John Bollman, formerly of Sequa Corp., will replace Brenda Harmon as the senior vice president and chief human resources officer of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. this month.

“We are pleased to have such a talented HR executive join Cooper as we continue to grow and develop the organizational capabilities that enable us to deliver on our strategic plan,” President and CEO Brad Hughes said.

Bollman has spent nine years at Sequa Corp. as chief human resources officer and previously attained nearly two decades of human resources experience at Whirlpool Corp. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Miami University and a juris doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago. Harmon, who he is replacing, is retiring from Cooper Tire & Rubber.

“John will no doubt build on the strong foundation Brenda Harmon has put in place over the past seven years," Hughes said. "She has made immense contributions to Cooper and has been a respected, valued member of our leadership team.
