Why win an award and not publicize it, especially when you’ve won it three times in a row?
Although that thought could have entered the minds of managers at 2313 Inc., a Farmington Hills, Michigan, sales and marketing firm recently recognized with its third Best and Brightest Companies to Work For award, the public accolades are out their hands.
All winners will be lauded for their virtues at events held by the award-givers throughout the year. The goal is to recognize companies highly regarded by their workers and managers for best-in-field human resources policies.
2313 beat out competitors in the categories of education and development, work/life balance, engagement and retention, and other measures. The firm also is committed to several charities, like the Volunteers of America and the American Cancer Society.
“We are pleased to be honored for our focus on helping employees reach their full potential," company President Ken Lear said in a news release. "We will continue to excel on behalf of the client while fostering an environment that promotes the professional and personal development of our team members."
