Auto-Chlor System, which provides cleaning solutions for the food service, lodging and health care industries, is hiring a human resources specialist in Mountain View, California.

Duties of the full-time position include informing employees of benefit plans and plan changes, facilitating the open enrollment process, monitoring and managing leaves of absences, helping with recruitment efforts, assisting with orientation for new employees, maintaining accurate benefit records, processing workers' compensation claims, responding to unemployment claims information requests, managing employee wellness initiatives, and organizing corporate social responsibility activities.

Prospective candidates should possess a four-year college degree in a HR-related field, four years of related work experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and knowledge of wage and hour laws, and other HR-related legislation such as ADA, FMLA and CFRA.

Applicants must be able to complete tasks under tight deadlines and maintain discretion when handling confidential information.

Preferred qualifications include SPHR or PHR certification.
