In line with its initiative to modernize its human resources function, BP recently selected Workday’s Human Capital Management (HCM) solution to replace its on-premise HR system.
"Global market leaders like BP continue to turn to Workday in order to drive a first-class HR experience," Workday Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific President Chano Fernandez said in a press release. "BP joins a large and growing community of customers who trust Workday to deliver the technology innovation and employee insights leaders need to continually engage their people and propel future growth."
Through its switch to Workday’s solution, BP expects to standardize its global business processes, increase employee engagement, provide business leaders with up-to-date insights on their teams, foster efficiency through seamless end-to-end processes and reap the benefits of a continually improving technology platform. BP operates in more than 70 countries with an international staff of more than 79,800 employees, making a modern, first-class HR function indispensable.
"We are pleased to work with Workday," BP Global HR Services Vice President Richard Bye said. "As we deploy Workday's leading cloud-based applications we will be able to deliver the simplicity and consumer-grade employee experience that BP needs to compete and grow in the modern world."
