Bank of Hawaii is hiring a full-time compensation and benefits specialist.
Duties of the position include implementing changes to compensation and benefit plans, facilitating HR training sessions, developing employee wellness programs, providing guidance on compensation issues, assisting with incentive plan revisions and performing comparative analysis with market data.
Candidates must posses a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience, at least two to three years of experience in HR, proficiency with Microsoft applications or similar software, strong communication skills, knowledge of financial and business analysis and working knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations.
Applicants should also be able to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines, make presentations either alone or with groups, travel by car or by air within and outside of Hawaii and work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
Preferred qualifications include entry-level coursework in accounting or equivalent work experience and familiarity with Lawson HCM System or similar system.
