Valley Truck and Tractor Co. is looking to hire a full-time human resources manager in Yuba City, California.

Duties of the HR manager include managing compensation and benefit plans, assisting with recruiting efforts, keeping employee records up-to-date, training new employees, creating and implementing employee engagement programs, overseeing employee learning and development activities, managing the organization's safety and health plans and ensuring compliance with employment laws on the local, state and federal level.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree; more than 10 years of HR experience; and knowledge of employment laws, minimum wage laws and confidentiality policies. Applicants should also be able to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, effectively communicate to individuals and groups and work well as a team player.

Preferred qualifications include a degree in HR/business management or equivalent experience.

The position offers an annual salary of $60,000 to $90,000.
