Collections firm Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (WWR) is seeking a benefits specialist at its Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, law office.
Tasks assigned to the specialist include managing benefit and 401(k) plan administration, ensuring benefit programs comply with federal and state regulations, leading open enrollment periods and benefit orientation, coordinating benefits and 401(k) plan audits, evaluating employee utilization of current benefits, suggesting changes to plans, tracking worker's compensation claims and developing and implementing firm-wide wellness programs.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field; at least five years of experience administering health and 401(k) retirement plans; and strong proficiency with reporting, HRIS and Excel. Applicants should be self-motivated team players, great at problem solving, able to meet deadlines, have strong communication skills and be dedicated to providing employees with the best assistance.
Preferred applicants have experience specializing solely in the benefits function for a mid to large-sized organization.
