Digital imaging products provider Epson is hiring a benefits specialist in Long Beach, California.
The specialist will be responsible for keeping employee records up-to-date, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees, responding to employee inquiries, helping to resolve administration and employee issues, ensuring timely communication of plan information such as deadlines and changes and reviewing HRIS and recordkeeping reports. The position also involves wellness and employee engagement tasks, such as launching wellness challenges, coordinating on-site fitness classes and nutrition meetings, organizing charity events and coordinating annual biometric screenings.
Prospective candidates must posses a bachelor's degree in HR management or equivalent work experience, at least three years of experience in employee benefits administration and employee wellness programs, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and working knowledge of benefits administration and policy regulations. This includes ACA, COBRA, DOL, ERISA, HIPPA and IRS.
Applicants should be able to effectively meet deadlines, solve problems, give presentations to groups of different sizes and provide great service to employees.
