An executive with a quarter-century of experience at some of the largest companies worldwide has been named VP of human resources for the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF), the not-for-profit entity that sets accounting policies and practices.
Kimberley A. Howard, whose resume includes executive-level positions with Daymon Worldwide, Hyperion Solutions and Deloitte, will lead efforts in recruiting for not only FAF, but also for the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board.
Teresa S. Polley, president and CEO of FAF, welcomed Howard to the organization.
“Kim’s strategic counsel will be valuable to our organization in ways that will bring tangible benefits to the talented people who work here, and will support the FASB and the GASB in the achievement of the mission of the organization,” she said.
Howard, who once operated her own search firm, earned a master’s in clinical social work from New York University.
