CCB Bankshares Inc., based in South Hill, Virginia, has a long-time employee of Call Federal Credit Union to head its human resources operations.

As senior vice president and human resources leader, Cynthia L. Bishop will oversee planning, benefits management, recruiting, training and more.

Bishop knew CCB Bankshares would be a good fit.

“I personally believe that human capital is the largest and most important asset to any company," Bishop said. "After a short conversation with the executive team at CCB, I knew we shared the same beliefs and it would be a hand-in-glove fit."

Bishop holds the Human Resources Management Professional and Professional in Human Resources certifications and is a human resources graduate of J. Sargent Reynolds College.
