Burris Logistics is hiring a manager of benefits administration, who will ensure proper administration of benefits and some benefits design at the company.
The position entails administering and designing the company’s benefits program to comply with current industry trends, features and regulations. The successful candidate will also be charged with creating materials to explain enrollment benefits to new hires and team members, and work with the payroll department on compliance and benefits administration issues. The role also includes managing the company’s 401(k) paperwork and working with and coordinating payments for vendors.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, but those with bachelor’s degrees in human resources, business administration or a related field are preferred, as are those with CEBS, HRCI, SHRM or related certifications.
Applicants must have seven to 10 years of relevant experience, and be highly proficient with word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. Candidates must have experience administering 401(k) plans and experience with software, applications and reports related to human resources and payroll, as well as knowledge of state and federal laws.
