Alpha Alternatives is now known as Alpha Capital CRE as the company rebrands itself to reflect its transition from fund placement services to commercial mortgage banking.
“We thought it was the right time to align our company name with the services we provide and the industry we serve,” Alpha Capital CRE Managing Partner Michael Riley said.
Founded in 2008, the company initially raised capital for hedge funds, real estate private equity funds and other alternative investments. It quickly moved toward real estate capital markets, providing clients with commercial mortgage banking services that allow them to meet debt and equity requirements for transactions around the country. The company’s growth has accelerated over the past two years, during which time it completed roughly $1 billion in transactions. The rebranding effort is designed to reflect the company’s growing status as a capital market firm and better convey its client services.
“Alpha is on pace to becoming one of the most prominent middle-market advisory firms in the country, and I think that’s because we’ve always known how to adapt,” Anthony Longo, Alpha Capital CRE co-founder, said. “We continually look for ways to grow our business, our team and offer clients industry-leading expertise.”
