Beginning Jan. 23, banking and finance workers will have a new portal for job searching with the launch of BankTalentHQ, a website aimed at connecting qualified candidates with potential employers.
The site will fill a void left by “changing demographics, negative industry press and increasing regulations,” according to a company news release. It also is differentiated by its goal of drawing candidates from outside the banking industry into financial careers, the release said.
"The banking industry was lacking a dedicated and focused, full-service talent management site, and that's what BankTalentHQ brings," co-founder Brian Hoffman said. "It will be the one-stop shop for a bank's talent management needs.”
The site will offer a traditional job board where companies can pay to post openings for full-time opportunities and internships. For job seekers, there will be career and resume advice, an industry news feed, and C-suite recruitment services.
So far, banking associations in Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, New Hampshire and New Mexico are working with the site, the release said.
