Yankee Alliance is looking to hire a human resources manager to work in Andover, Massachusetts.
The position will entail overseeing the company's efforts related to recruiting, training and performance management. This includes developing job offers, screening job candidates, checking employment references, meeting with new employees to go over the employee handbook, coordinating staff training, recommending strategies to improve employee retention, helping managers create clear standards for performance and conducting exit interviews.
The HR manager will also chair the organization's Employee Wellness Committee.
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree, at least seven years of HR experience, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Preferred applicants are those with HR certification.
Prospective candidates should be able to multitask, work independently and effectively in an environment with deadlines and changing priorities, and handle confidential information with discretion. They should also be detail-orientated, and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
