In the beautiful geographic setting of Northern California, Kaiser Permanente seeks a senior level Human Resources leader to guide strategic planning and consult and collaborate with the system’s hospitals, offices and other health care facilities.
As the region’s largest health plan, Kaiser Permanente requires a candidate to lead and communicate with the organization’s HR team members; handle planning, training, strategy and direction; examine and assess policy outcomes and regulatory areas for compliance; and maintain awareness of employee wellness and satisfaction.
Additionally, the Sacramento-based position requires exceptional organizational skills and a grasp of labor/management matters, workforce planning, recruitment, compensation and benefits, and professional development initiatives.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public health, psychology, human resources or related field; and at least 12 years of strategic planning and human resources management or business management experience. Graduate (master’s or law school) degrees in business administration, psychology, HR or related areas are a plus, as are SPHR, Six Sigma, executive coaching and/or Project Management Professional certifications.
The ideal candidate will be able to travel approximately 10 percent of the time. This non-union salaried position is a full-time (40-hour) weekday shift (Monday-Friday) with hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and comes with benefits.
