Surround sound pioneer Dolby Laboratories has started 2017 with a new chief of human resources for its worldwide operations.
New Senior Vice President of Human Resources Linda Rogers was hired to apply her two decades of experience to spur the company’s 2,000-member workforce in 20 countries to new levels of success.
“Her deep understanding of both strategic planning and workforce development will help us succeed in our key initiatives while ensuring that Dolby is a diverse and inclusive environment where we can all do our best work,” a press release stated.
After working for eSilicon Corp. and Sun Microsystems, Rogers launched her own consulting firm, helping high-tech companies meet the pace of 21st-century progress.
Dolby President and CEO Kevin Yeaman said Rogers would help drive talent acquisition.
“Her deep understanding of both strategic planning and workforce development will help us succeed in our key initiatives while ensuring that Dolby is a diverse and inclusive environment where we can all do our best work,” Yeaman said in a news release.
