McKesson Pharmaceutical is hiring a senior director for labor relations and employee engagement at its Alpharetta, Georgia office.

The full-time position entails numerous responsibilities including providing advice on labor and employee relations matters, promoting HR policies, making recommendations that would minimize labor disputes, and developing labor relations campaign and training materials.

Prospective candidates must possess a four-year degree in a field related to HR, labor relations or business, or have equivalent experience. They must have a minimum of 10 years of labor relations and employee relations and engagement experience, as well as experience negotiating with unions, handling grievances and arbitrations, leading complex projects, diagnosing individual/team issues, and working in a collaborative labor relations environment. Candidates also need to have strong communication, consulting and analytical skills.

Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree such as a JD, PHR/SPHR certification, and experience working in a large and complex organization.

In addition to general office demands, the position would require the candidate to travel about half of the time.
