The Apple Corporation has a job opportunity for a human resource specialist in Sacramento, California.
As a senior human resource partner for Apple, the successful applicant will partner with HR managers and specialists to deliver services and programs to the company’s support organization.
He or she will provide direct support to the nation’s contact center leaders from an HR agenda that supports business objectives to on-site and home-based teams.
Key qualifications include intensive HR or business experience with contact centers; global experience; expertise in project management; demonstrated ability to work successfully in global teams; and the ability to spend up to 20 percent of business hours traveling.
Additionally, the position requires a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, plus 10 years of experience in human resources.
Specific responsibilities include: consulting senior management on key changes related to organizational development; advising managers and employees on all performance-related issues; acting as a liaison between site recruiting functions and line organizations, ensures high-volume hiring is on schedule to meet goals; working with employee relation partners to ensure appropriate staffing levels and delivery of services to managers and employees; identifying and implementing pro-active employee relations programs to encourage improved morale and organizational performance; developing and working on special and cross-functional projects as needed; understanding the training/development needs of the organization and serving as liaison with corporate training; tracking and reporting staffing, retention, attrition and other necessary data to line management; and recommending programs and/or enhancements as necessary.
