Amazon Retail LLC's recruiting team recently announced an open position that is ideal for those seeking the thrill of working in an entrepreneurial environment related to human resources (HR).

Based in New York City, this team is seeking candidates who are “entrepreneurial, analytical, creative (and) flexible” to spearhead recruitment efforts for the e-commerce giant’s upcoming brick-and-mortar stores.

Ideal candidates are able to blend collaboration with multitasking; to thrive in a culture that often features gray areas and changing needs; to work alongside managers; and to use left-brain tools to deliver right-brain intuitive solutions for developing workers and customer engagement. 

Selected candidates will use their bachelor’s degree and more than seven years of experience to oversee many HR functions, including “performance reviews, promotions and succession planning,” according to the original posting.

Ability to travel for work and being well-versed in employment law -- along with assessing talent from entry to executive level -- is required.
