Nonprofit Colleges Online recently released
its 2017 Best Online Bachelor’s in Human Resources: Students Before Profits List, with Western Governors University in Salt Lake City taking the top
honors.
The list ranks high-quality accredited
human resources programs according to their average tuition costs.
“Human resources professionals are
tasked with the care and oversight of an organization’s employees, and
therefore play a fundamental role in the ongoing health and functionality of
the workplace,” Nonprofit Colleges Online site editor Sam Mazany said.
“Many students who are interested in the field of human resources are
looking specifically for a college program that is both accessible and
affordable.”
Western Governors University got the top spot
on the list with an estimated tuition cost of $23,120, followed by Fort Hays
State University in Florida with an estimated cost of $26,289. Rounding
out the top three is Metropolitan State in Saint Paul, Minnesota,
which earned the third position on the list with an estimated tuition cost of
$30,240.
“Online bachelor’s degrees like those in
this ranking offer a flexibility that allows students to continue working while
earning a degree online,” Mazany said. “We hope this ranking will be a valuable
resource for students who are considering this career path.”
