Watercrest Senior Living Group is welcoming highly experienced senior living operations, sales and marketing specialist Debra Garden Hussey as its new chief operating officer.

Watercrest, a company that services the development and operations of assisted living and memory care communities, views the new addition to their team as an asset to the company and a sign of its growth.

“Debra’s strengths and expertise will secure the sustainable growth of our brands of Watercrest communities, delivering a supportive and unified platform of training, development and common unity initiatives as we work together to build a legacy for our seniors, associates and community partners,” Marc Vorkapich, the principal and CEO of Watercrest Senior Living Group, said.

Hussey has 25 years of experience in senior living. She served as the regional director of Manor Care’s Southeastern District and the regional director of Greystone Communities. Most recently, she was the senior vice president of operations for Benchmark Senior Living.

“Watercrest communities have that special feel that an operator recognizes as soon as they walk in the door, we work hard to replicate it and wish we could bottle the recipe for it,” Hussey said. “I am so excited to join the Watercrest team and partner with Marc and Joanie to welcome, care and serve seniors with excellence.”
