Viking Gymnastics, located in Niles, Illinois, is seeking a human resources generalist who would help in recruitment and staffing for the rapidly growing children’s sports facility.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience. Those with SHRM-CP certifications are strongly preferred. Those seeking this position should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong organizational skills. They should be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and have a strong working knowledge of state and federal laws related to staffing, benefits and employee relations.
The Viking Gymnastics human resource generalist will be part of the company’s leadership team and will be a strong presence both within the company and externally, where he or she will be expected to build relationships with the local community. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing recruitment an onboarding processes for all employees and for payroll administration and benefits management, including ensuring legal compliance. He or she will also organize team building events for the Viking Gymnastics staff and work to build relationships internally and externally, including the creation of a recruitment pipeline.
The position comes with a salary range of $45,000 to $55,000 and will requires some evening and weekend work hours.
