Cloud-based human capital management (HCM) solutions provider Ultimate Software of Toronto recently scored a win in multiple categories of the 2017 Canadian HR Reporter Readers’ Choice awards — including HR management, payroll, recruitment strategies and talent solutions — based on positive readership response.

“We are honored to be recognized by Canadian HR Reporter, and especially by HR professionals, who understand how UltiPro’s suite of products can best serve their employees, increase productivity, and help drive business growth,” Scott Scherr, Ultimate’s CEO, president and founder, said. “Ultimate is 100 percent focused on delivering innovative HCM technology and industry-leading service that puts people first.”

To determine finalists, the publication’s editorial crew suggested nominees in 51 categories, measuring eligibility by reputation and originality in relation to standard practices. The three companies obtaining the highest number of votes in each grouping were designated as Readers’ Choice winners.

“We have designed UltiPro to address the specific needs of HR and payroll professionals,” Greg Swick, Ultimate’s chief global sales officer, said. “UltiPro can record key compliance information for federal, provincial, and territorial governments, handle hundreds of pay computations such as Canada/Quebec Pension Plan contributions, and generate year-end annual information returns required by the Canada Revenue Agency and Ministère du Revenu du Québec. We are pleased that this award acknowledges our commitment to providing businesses with the necessary technology for success.”
