Toronto-based human capital management (HCM) company Ultimate Software recently scored an award as best industry service provider with a 2017 Readers Choice award from Human Resources Director Magazine, a bi-monthly publication pinpointing industry trends and practices.

“The HR Awards are one of the most prestigious industry awards we can receive, and we are honored by the recognition,” Scott Scherr, Ultimate’s CEO, president and founder, said. “We … understand the importance of service, and make service a key component of our overall solution offering.”

Based on criteria including leadership, recruitment and workplace culture, the HR Awards were judged by a panel of industry professionals. Winners were selected from among hundreds of nominations.

“UltiPro’s People First approach to services means that customers work with a dedicated account manager, ensuring that a customer’s support questions are handled by someone with whom they have a relationship and who knows the customer’s account,” Greg Swick, Ultimate’s chief enterprise sales officer, said.

Swick added that clients can choose one streamlined HCM system providing easy compliance for government at the Canadian federal, provincial, and territorial levels.

“Our solution can handle the most complex payroll requirements with ease, including gross-to-net calculations, Employment Insurance premiums, and Quebec Parental Insurance Plan premiums,” Swick said. “We are pleased that HR professionals have recognized how UltiPro’s suite of products and industry-leading customer service provide the resources they need to maximize business results.”
