TRIUMPH GROUP, INC.: Triumph Appoints New VP of FP&A and Investor Relations

Triumph Group, Inc. issued the following announcement on Sept. 4.

Triumph Group (NYSE:TGI) today announced that Michael Pici will join the company as Vice President, Financial Planning and Investor Relations, effective September 12, 2018. Pici brings over 20 years of progressive financial and capital markets experience to his new role. He is a customer-focused communicator with expertise in effective internal and external communications. Areas of expertise include business modeling, investor communications, budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.

“We are excited to have Michael join Triumph and welcome his expertise working with the investor and analyst community to help advance the understanding of our company,” said Jim McCabe, Triumph’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. “Michael’s strong communications skills and experience in messaging strategies make him well suited for the current needs of our company.”

Pici will report to McCabe and will be responsible for interfacing with the investment community, communicating the company’s financial messaging, and developing and managing relationships with new and current investors, analysts and other stakeholders. He will also lead the company’s cross business unit financial planning and analysis team. Pici assumes the role from Sheila Spagnolo who will continue her role with the company as Vice President of Tax.

In his most recent role as Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations, at Vista Outdoor, a spin-off of Alliant Techsystems (ATK), he led the investor communication strategy and supported spin-off and merger activities. There he was successful in developing a proactive, innovative investor outreach program focused on effective and transparent communications with stakeholders.

Pici received his B.B.A. in Marketing Management and his MBA in Financial Management from Pace University. He is also a Six Sigma Green Belt.
