TIBCO Software Senior Vice President Michele Haddad recently received a prestigious Stevie Award as Female Executive of the Year: Business Services at the organization’s 14th annual event — winning her second such prize in as many years.

Haddad oversees global human resources for the Palo Alto, California firm specializing in integration, API management, and analytics. TIBCO CEO Murray Rode congratulated her, calling her an innovative leader with a talent for strategic direction.

“Michele is a creative leader who has not only spearheaded innovative global HR programs, but has been a key contributor to the overall strategy and success of our business,” Rode said. “We’re proud to see Michele recognized again with this well-deserved award.”

TIBCO has flourished under Haddad’s guidance, morphing from a conventional corporate approach to a customer- and business-centric orientation according to the company. Not only has she strengthened professional development and work culture at the firm, but she has also advocated for diversity by spearheading “coding camps” for underserved students.

Stevie Awards founder and President Michael Gallagher commended the finalists’ achievements, stating that both the entries and ceremony attendance for 2017 reached a record numbers—over 1,500 nominations spanning numerous industries and categories.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor female entrepreneurs, executives, employees, and their respective organizations with seven international programs.
