Lifting and material handling solutions manufacturer Terex Corp. is looking for a human resources generalist in Westport, Connecticut.
Duties of the position include drafting job descriptions, posting jobs, coordinating interviews, approving offer letters for job openings, leading the onboarding process for new employees, conducting exit interviews, supporting the talent development and performance management process, handling employee relations matters, assisting in the planning of company events, ensuring corporate policies are up-to-date, and producing ad hoc reports.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, and at least two years of HR experience.
Preferred qualifications include HR experience with a global and/or publicly traded company; HR internship experience; intermediate skills in Excel; strong communication, organizational, analytical, time management, problem solving, and project management skills; and the ability to operate independently.
