Telehealth platform provider Avizia, delivering technology applications to hospitals, has appointed Joseph Quinn to guide the firm’s strategic growth in his role as the company’s new chief financial officer.
Bringing 20 years of executive leadership experience with well-known firms including AOL, Quinn was instrumental in that company’s successful growth. Most recently he worked at comScore Inc.
“Joe has a track record of mindfully accelerating businesses and optimizing company resources for success,” Avizia CEO Mike Baird said from the company’s Reston, Virginia headquarters. “His experience will be an asset as Avizia advances its mission to connect providers and patients no matter their location or condition.”
Quinn, who earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Virginia Tech, is a CPA. At Avizia, Quinn will oversee accounting, finance, HR and legal facets, focusing on increasing the company’s scope of services in the rapidly growing field of virtual health care. He expressed enthusiasm about his new position.
