Tarkett Group selects MacBeath to lead human resources

Sharon MacBeath, formerly group senior vice president for human resources at Rexel, was recently appointed human resources executive vice president at flooring and sports surfaces group Tarkett. 

Originally from Scotland, MacBeath earned her bachelors with honors from Glasgow University, a master’s in human resources from the Sorbonne, and an Executive MBA from INSEAD. She began her human resources career with McDonald’s France in the early 1990s before starting a recruitment company in 1995. She joined Rexam in 1999 as senior vice president for human resources and communication, and was later appointed group senior vice president in charge of human resources.

In her new position, MacBeath will serve on the Target Executive Committee. She will also be a member of the Tarkett Management Borad, where she’ll be working with Chief Financial Officer  Fabrice Barthélemy and Chairman of the Management Board Michel Giannuzzi.
