Petroleum and natural gas exploration and production company Chesapeake Energy seeks a human resources talent management representative in Oklahoma City.
Duties of the position include administrating HR programs and policies, informing new employees of benefits and compensation, preparing and maintaining employment records, updating HR documents, and auditing data.
Prospective candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED; related work experience; basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office; and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Skills are also needed in the areas of project management, customer service, administration and conflict management.
Applicants should be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize projects to meet deadlines, handle confidential information, comply with company policies and procedures, learn company specific applications, and obtain knowledge about HR-related procedures and laws.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field; PHR certification; more than two years of HR systems experience; advanced Excel skills; and experience with supporting modules within the SuccessFactors suite.
