A business and technology consulting firm seeks a business partner for its talent management team in Chicago.

The partner will be responsible for talent engagement and retention, employee onboarding and orientation, leading key HR processes, providing guidance on HR-related topics, facilitating effective employee communications, and dealing with employee relations issues.

Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, business or related field; at least seven years of HR experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, leadership, organizational, time management and conflict resolution skills; and knowledge of employment law.

Applicants should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and travel to other office locations.

Preferred qualifications include HR experience in a professional services or management consulting firm as a market-facing consultant.
