Staffing firm and talent solutions provider Advanced Resources is seeking a benefits representative to work for a client in the Gurnee, Illinois, area.
The representative will be tasked with explaining employee benefits, recommending employee benefit programs, collecting and analyzing employee benefit data, evaluating proposed employee benefit contracts, updating job knowledge by partaking in educational opportunities and supporting the HR function. They are also responsible for determining employee benefit practices and interests through a number of methods, including researching industry trends, tracking legislation, conducting employee surveys and forming focus groups.
Candidates must possess more than two years of experience in the human resources field, strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Applicants should also be able to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, read and analyze information regarding benefit changes in state and federal law and keep benefit information confidential.
