Vigor, a Washington-based shipbuilder, is looking to hire a human resources representative for its Seattle facility.
This position will assist the manager of human resources with coaching employees, managing relationships with union workers, recruiting, training and evaluations. The representative will also partner with managers in other departments and act as a liaison between management and non-exempt employees. Familiarity with labor law and union contracts is desired.
To qualify, the candidate must have a college degree and at least two years of relevant experience. Basic computer literacy, good communication skills and self-motivation are helpful, as well.
