David Schloss was recently appointed chief human resources officer at telehealth provider Teladoc.

“In today’s highly competitive global marketplace, attracting and retaining the best talent enables industry leaders like Teladoc to successfully execute on delivering on their mission and best serving their clients,” Schloss said. “I look forward to applying my expertise in building and expanding rapidly growing public companies to support the future of the Teladoc organization.”

Schloss has more than two decades of HR management experience across a number of industries including biotech, consumer health care and pharmaceuticals. He joins Teladoc from clinical stage cell therapy company Caladrius Biosciences, where he served as vice president of HR.

“As the Teladoc business has evolved and expanded, so too have our human resource needs, with now more than 1,200 employees in locations around the world,” Teladoc CEO Jason Gorevic said. “It’s paramount that we build on our HR foundation to continue to meet the talent acquisition, employee development and associated compliance needs of a growing and diverse employee pool. David not only has the requisite depth of experience and demonstrated leadership capability, but is also a strong cultural fit to join the ranks of our executive management team.”
