RiseSmart, a leading provider of career transition services, has been accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), which awards accreditation to programs of coaching and professional development that adhere to a strict code of ethics and core competencies.

RiseSmart career coaches are a select group of professionals, most of whom have at least 12 years of experience in HR and recruiting and hold master’s degrees and doctorates. Most RiseSmart career coaches have also authored at least one book on employment, coaching or human resources topics.

The new ICF accreditation will allow RiseSmart coaches to continue to build on their extensive educations and remain abreast of industry trends and best practices.

“A great coach can make all the difference in a job search,” RiseSmart President and CEO Sanjay Sathé said in a statement released by the company. “Coaches help job seekers decide on a direction for their job search and future career path, develop network and interviewing skills, provide emotional support, and help create the right behavioral changes. That’s why hiring and developing the industry’s best coaching team has always been a top priority for us. Our reputation for delivering results, our high standards, and our strong emphasis on continuing education allows us to attract the industry’s most talented HR experts.”
