Oasis Outsourcing, the largest privately held Professional Employer Organization in the nation, has hired Gerald Purgay as the company’s new chief marketing officer.

In his new role, Purgay will be responsible for accelerating Oasis Outsourcing’s growth through customer-centric and innovative marketing strategies.

“As Oasis continues to grow, it is critically important that we keep building our management team with experienced, talented professionals who will help drive our culture of values, collaboration and excellence,” Chief Operating Officer Kelley Castell said. “I’m confident that Gerald’s vast experience and track record of success will be invaluable to Oasis as we continue our focus on providing best-in-class HR solutions and experiences to our clients and worksite employees.”

Purgay previously worked for Mercer as its chief marketing officer. Before that, he worked for Right Management for over seven years as senior vice president. He has nearly a decade of experience in the domestic and international marketing of service organizations and has a successful track record of growing revenue and market share.

He graduated from York University with a bachelor’s degree in economics; from New York Institute of Technology with an MBA in global marketing; and from Boston University with a master of science in digital innovation.
